Seeds - Squash 'Waltham Butternut'

‘Waltham Butternut’ is a delicious squash with solid orange flesh, smooth texture and a wonderful sweet flavour. It forms relatively uniform fruit with thick straight necks and a small seed cavity, and stores well for several months. Also known as Waltham Butternut Pumpkin.

Relatively easy to grow, it does best in a sunny spot with fertile and well-drained soil, producing several fruit that can weigh between 1-3kg each. It's skin is soft and speckled green-white in colour when young, and becomes tan coloured with solid tough skin as it ripens.
