Acer mikawa yatsubusa

Acer palmatum ‘Mikawa Yatsubusa’

A little Japanese maple with a lot of character. Its small, fresh green leaves grow in beautifully layered clusters, giving it a distinctive, almost bonsai-like form.

This particular specimen is quite tall and narrow, perfect for an awkward corner that needs some high interest.

Autumn tones are gorgeous shades of gold, orange and red.

Slow-growing and naturally compact, eventually reaching around 1.5–2m high and wide. A lovely little statement tree for a courtyard, garden or feature pot.

Prefers a sheltered spot away from harsh afternoon sun.
