The Madagascar palm is a very unique plant, with a long spiked trunk with leaves forming at the top. Since these plants are technically succulents, they are easy care. Just give them full sun and water when the soil is completely dry. Can grow 1-2 metres indoors and up to 4.5 metres outdoors. Included is an example of an outdoor madagascar palm.

Origin: Native to Madagascar, prized for my unique appearance resembling a palm tree.

Light: I thrive in bright, direct sunlight. Place me in a sunny spot where I can soak up plenty of sunshine throughout the day.

Temperature: I'm sensitive to cold temperatures and frost, so protect me from chilly conditions.

Watering: I'm drought-tolerant and prefer to dry out between waterings. Water me sparingly, allowing the soil to dry completely before watering again. In winter, water me even less to prevent root rot.

Soil: Plant me in well-draining soil. A mixture of cactus or succulent potting mix with added perlite or sand works well to provide excellent drainage.

Pests/Diseases: I'm relatively pest and disease-resistant, but watch out for pests like spider mites and scale insects. Treat any infestations promptly with insecticidal soap.
