A popular Victorian house plant, needs part to full shade, and is very hardy. Feed well, remove dead leaves as needed.

Shown in Costa Pot (sold seperately).

Origin: Native to East Asia, known for my durability and ability to thrive in low light conditions.

Light: I'm adaptable to low light conditions but can also tolerate moderate indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch my leaves.

Temperature: I'm resilient to fluctuations in temperature but prefer to avoid extremes.

Watering: Let my soil dry out slightly between waterings. I prefer to be on the dry side, so water me sparingly. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so err on the side of underwatering.

Soil: Plant me in well-draining, rich soil.

Fertilization: Feed me with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in fall and winter.

Propagation: I can be propagated by division. Simply divide my rhizomes and plant them in separate pots with fresh soil.

Pests/Diseases: I'm relatively pest and disease-resistant, but watch out for spider mites and mealybugs. Treat any infestations promptly with insecticidal soap.
