These are awesome. Beautiful lush foliage, growing to 2.5m tall with a bushy habit. They also have small white flowers in Summer. These are thirsty plants, so they need regular water.  Can be grown indoors or outdoors, positioned in a shady to dappled light spot.

Shown in Antique Grinder Planter (sold seperately).

Origin: Native to Japan and Korea, prized for my large, glossy leaves and tolerance to shade.

Light: I prefer bright, indirect light or partial shade. Place me in a location with filtered sunlight, away from direct sunlight which can scorch my leaves.

Temperature: Keep me in a moderate environment please! I'm sensitive to cold temperatures, so protect me from frost and freezing conditions.

Watering: Keep my soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water me when the top inch of soil feels dry, and ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.

Soil: Plant me in well-draining, rich soil.

Fertilization: Feed me with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in fall and winter when growth slows.

Pruning: Prune me to remove any dead or yellowing leaves and to maintain my shape. You can also prune me to control my size and encourage bushier growth.

Propagation: I can be propagated from stem cuttings. Take a healthy cutting with a few nodes, remove the lower leaves, and place it in water or moist potting mix until roots develop.

Pests/Diseases: I'm relatively pest and disease-resistant, but watch out for common houseplant pests like spider mites and aphids. Treat any infestations promptly with insecticidal soap.
